Welcome to MyTUP Social: A Digital Community for the TUP Community

MyTUP Social is a dedicated digital community platform designed for people connected to the Technological University of the Philippines. It brings community interaction, useful campus information, student-focused tools and digital access into one place without trying to replace the official university systems that students already depend on.

MyTUP Social is a dedicated digital community platform designed for people connected to the Technological University of the Philippines. It brings community interaction, useful campus information, student-focused tools and digital access into one place without trying to replace the official university systems that students already depend on.

The purpose is simple: make it easier for students and members of the wider TUP community to connect, discover information, participate in campus life and move between community and learning tools without relying entirely on unrelated public social networks.

What MyTUP Social is

MyTUP Social is the community layer of the MyTUP ecosystem. It is where users can discover conversations, share updates, communicate with other members of the community and find activity that matters to them. The platform is owned and operated by CommunityStack for the TUP community.

It is important to understand the boundary clearly. MyTUP Social does not replace the Technological University of the Philippines, its Registrar, admissions offices, academic departments, official records systems or administrative processes. Formal university matters remain with the appropriate TUP office or official TUP website.

Why a dedicated campus community matters

University life happens across many channels. Students attend classes, work on projects, join organizations, participate in events, ask questions, find support, discover opportunities and interact with people outside their immediate class or department. When all of that activity is scattered across different messaging apps and public social platforms, useful information becomes harder to find and campus communities become fragmented.

MyTUP Social is intended to provide a more focused environment built around the university community itself. The value is not simply another place to post. The value is context: the people, conversations and resources are connected to the TUP environment.

How the MyTUP ecosystem fits together

The MyTUP experience is split across three main surfaces:

  • MyTUP Social App — the mobile community experience for iOS and Android.
  • MyTUP Web — browser-based access to the community experience.
  • MyTUP LMS — the learning environment used when coursework and academic activity are the priority.

These surfaces have different jobs. The social platform is designed for community participation. The Web experience provides browser access. The LMS is focused on learning. Keeping those roles clear helps users understand where to go for different needs.

What students can use MyTUP Social for

Depending on the features currently available, users may be able to share posts, participate in conversations, message other members, discover events, use community groups, view clips or live activity, explore marketplace or tutoring features and receive useful notifications. The platform will continue to evolve, so the best place to see current capabilities is the MyTUP Features page.

For people who are new to the platform, the How MyTUP Works guide explains the basic user journey, including access, profiles, community participation, safety controls and the relationship between the app, Web and LMS.

Community standards and safety

A useful campus community depends on responsible participation. MyTUP Social has published Community Guidelines, a Privacy Policy, Child Safety Standards and a dedicated account deletion process.

Users should avoid posting passwords, authentication codes, financial information, medical records or other sensitive personal information publicly. Serious safety or platform concerns can be directed to MyTUP Support.

Where to find official TUP information

MyTUP Social can help users discover information, but official university matters should always be confirmed through the appropriate TUP source. The Student Resources page helps route students to services such as admissions, Registrar functions, Student Affairs, guidance, health services and libraries. The Campus Guide provides campus-specific starting points.

Getting started

If you want to explore the platform now, use the Download and Access page. You can also open MyTUP Web directly in a browser.

MyTUP Social is being built as a practical digital community for TUP—not as a replacement for the university itself, but as a better way for the community around it to stay connected.
