What is MyTUP Social?
MyTUP Social is a dedicated digital community platform built around the Technological University of the Philippines community. It combines community interaction, content, communication, campus discovery and links into connected services such as MyTUP Web and MyTUP LMS. Is MyTUP Social the official TUP website?
No. MyTUP Social is a community platform owned and operated by CommunityStack for the Technological University of the Philippines. The official TUP website remains the authoritative source for formal university information, policies, admissions, academic records and institutional notices. Visit the official TUP website ↗ for those matters.
Who is MyTUP Social for?
The platform is designed for members of the TUP community. Access and account eligibility can depend on the platform's current onboarding and verification rules. If you are unsure whether you can create or use an account, contact support@mytup.social.

If you want the mobile experience, go to Download MyTUP. If you prefer a browser, open MyTUP Web ↗. If you are looking for learning access, open MyTUP LMS ↗.
Accounts & access
Account access, sign-in, profiles and what to do when something is not working.
Do I need to install the app to use MyTUP Social?
No. The mobile app is the primary phone experience, but MyTUP Web provides browser access without requiring an installation. Use the Download page for mobile options or open web.mytup.social ↗.
I cannot sign in. What should I do?
First confirm that you are using the correct account details and that your internet connection is working. If the problem continues, contact support@mytup.social and include the email or username associated with the account, your device type, and a short description of the error. Never email your password.
Can I change my profile information?
Profile information that is editable can be updated through the account or profile controls available in MyTUP Social. Some fields may be restricted when they are used for identity, institutional context or account integrity.
Why might some features not appear on my account?
Some functions can depend on platform availability, account status, eligibility rules, device support or staged releases. If a feature you expect is missing, check that you are using the latest available version and then contact Support if the issue remains.

What can I do on MyTUP Social?
Core areas include community posts and conversations, comments and reactions, profiles and search, short-form updates and clips, direct messaging, notifications, events, marketplace activity, tutoring discovery, groups, alumni connections, live features and access to connected web and learning services. What are Daily Updates and Clips?
They are short-form content formats designed for quick community moments and creative updates. They complement normal posts rather than replacing the main community feed.
Can users send private messages?
Yes, direct messaging allows community members to continue conversations privately. Private messaging is still subject to the platform's Community Guidelines, including rules against harassment, threats, scams and other prohibited behavior.
Does MyTUP Social support live streaming?
MyTUP Social includes live-streaming functionality for eligible accounts. Availability can depend on current qualification rules and platform status. Live streams and replays remain subject to the same community and safety standards as other content.
What is the Marketplace for?
Marketplace provides a dedicated area for community buying, selling or listing activity. Users are responsible for exercising normal caution, verifying details and following applicable platform rules. MyTUP Social does not guarantee private transactions between users.
Where can I find events and student resources?
Events can be discovered through the platform, while the public website also provides a Student Resources page and Campus Guide for useful orientation information.

What is MyTUP Web?
MyTUP Web is the browser-based community experience at web.mytup.social ↗. It is useful when you want to access MyTUP from a computer or a device where you do not want to install the mobile app.
What is MyTUP LMS?
MyTUP LMS is the connected learning destination at lms.mytup.social ↗. It is separate from the public community website and is intended for learning-related access.
Are MyTUP Social and the LMS the same thing?
No. MyTUP Social focuses on the digital community experience. The LMS focuses on learning. They are connected within the same broader ecosystem so users can move between community and learning more easily.
What is mytup.social used for?
The public website at mytup.social is the information, trust and support layer. It explains the platform, provides download links, campus and student resources, community standards, policies, contact routes and help information.

Where can I read the rules for using MyTUP Social?
The Community Guidelines explain expectations for respectful conduct, prohibited content, harassment, threats, privacy, scams, spam, marketplace behavior, live activity and moderation.
How do I report harmful or inappropriate content?
Use the in-platform reporting controls where they are available. For additional help or urgent platform-safety concerns, contact support@mytup.social. Include enough context to identify the content or account, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Can I block another user?
Where blocking controls are available in the relevant experience, use them to stop unwanted interaction. Blocking does not replace reporting when content or behavior may violate the Community Guidelines.
Where is the Privacy Policy?
The current privacy information is published at mytup.social/privacy-policy/. It explains how personal information is handled in connection with the platform.
Does MyTUP Social have child-safety rules?
Yes. The Child Safety Standards set out the platform's approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, sexualization of minors and related safety issues.
Can content or accounts be removed?
Yes. Content or accounts may be moderated when platform rules, safety requirements or legal obligations require action. Enforcement can include content removal, restrictions or account action depending on the issue and available platform controls.

How do I delete my account?
Use the instructions on the Delete Account page. That page provides the current route for requesting or completing account deletion.
What happens to my information if I delete my account?
The treatment of information associated with account deletion is governed by the current Privacy Policy, applicable retention requirements and the technical behavior of the platform. Review the deletion and privacy pages before submitting a request if you need specific details.
Does the public website use cookies or advertising technologies?
The public website may use cookies and advertising-related technologies. Details are published in the Cookie & Advertising Policy and the Privacy Policy.
Will advertisements affect official TUP information?
Advertising displayed on the public website is separate from official TUP information and does not change the authority of university policies, notices, academic records or formal institutional communications. Use the official TUP website for authoritative university information.

Where should I ask about admissions, grades, enrollment or official university records?
Those are official university matters, not MyTUP Social support issues. Use the official TUP website ↗ or the appropriate TUP office for authoritative information.
Who owns and operates MyTUP Social?
